Emergency Hoarding Cleanup in New York, New Jersey & Pennsylvania
Same-day and 24-hour service. Some cleanouts can wait. This one can't.
Maybe there's an inspection on Friday. Maybe your mother is being discharged from the hospital and the house isn't safe for her to come back to. Maybe a tenant left behind ten years of stuff and the new lease starts Monday.
Whatever put you on this page, here's what matters: Junk All Mighty sends crews out same-day and next-day across New York City, New Jersey and Philadelphia. We show up in unmarked trucks if you want. We don't ask why. We just clear the place out.

We work on your deadline, not ours
Most hoarding cleanups happen on somebody else's clock. A city inspector set the date. A hospital set the date. A judge set the date. We've done this enough times to know the deadline is the whole job. Here's who calls us:
Landlords and property managers. An HPD violation, a failed inspection, a fire marshal order, or a unit that has to turn over before the first of the month. Send us photos today and in most cases we can have a crew in the unit tomorrow. We'll also give you before-and-after photos for your records, because we know the city wants proof.
Families dealing with a hospital stay. A parent falls, ends up in the hospital, and suddenly the whole family finds out how bad the house got. Discharge is in five days and the social worker says the home has to be safe first. We clear walking paths, remove the piles, haul out the spoiled food and broken furniture, and get the house to a place where someone can actually live in it again.
Families settling an estate. When a loved one passes and the house was full, the clock starts anyway. The realtor wants it empty, the lease has to be surrendered, or the family flew in and only has a week. We can clear a full house in one to three days depending on size, and we set aside anything that looks like documents, photos, jewelry or cash. We find things families thought were gone.
Realtors and attorneys. Closing is scheduled and the property has to be delivered broom-clean. Give us the access and the date. We'll hit it.
Same-day hoarder cleanup: how it works
Call or text us photos
You don't need to clean up before we see it. We've walked into worse, we promise. A few photos from your phone is enough for us to size the job.
Get a firm number, fast
We quote by volume, not by the hour, so nobody's dragging their feet on your dime. You'll have a real price within hours, not days.
Crew shows up. Stuff leaves.
Same-day or next-day in most of our area. We bring the trucks, labor, bags and muscle. Usable items get donated, the rest is disposed of properly, and we finish with a broom sweep.
What emergency hoarding cleanup costs
Straight answer, because you deserve one: most of our hoarding cleanouts land between $800 and $2,500, depending on how much needs to go and how hard it is to get out (walk-ups and buildings with elevator rules take longer). A single packed room costs less. Severe, multi-room jobs can run into five figures anywhere in the NYC metro, and anyone who quotes a flat cheap price sight unseen is planning to renegotiate in your living room.
We don't do that. You get one firm, volume-based price before we lift a thing, and rushing the timeline doesn't mean we raise the rate. Emergency scheduling is part of the job, not an upcharge.
24-hour emergency response across NYC, New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Nights and weekends aren't a problem. A lot of our emergency work happens on Saturdays because that's when families can actually be at the house. If your situation truly can't wait until morning, call anyway. We'll figure it out.

What we handle, and what we don't
We take
Furniture, mattresses, clothing, boxes, papers, bagged trash, spoiled food, appliances, e-waste, construction debris, yard junk, and basically anything two strong people can carry out of a building. Basements, attics, garages, storage units, all of it.
We don't take biohazards
If the property involves animal waste buildup, mold remediation, or a scene that needs certified trauma cleaning, that work legally requires a specialized remediation company. We'll tell you honestly if that's what you're looking at, we can work alongside those crews, and we'll point you to people who do it right. What we won't do is pretend, take your money, and leave you with a failed inspection.
Done quietly, done with respect
Hoarding isn't a character flaw. It's something millions of households deal with, and nobody plans for it. Our crews are trained to keep their opinions to themselves and their hands moving. If you'd rather the neighbors not know what's happening, we'll come in unmarked trucks and keep it low-key. If the person who lives there wants to be involved in deciding what stays, we work at their pace on the keep-or-toss calls while still hitting your deadline on the hauling.
You called because something has to happen fast. It will. But fast doesn't have to mean cold.

What we set aside for you
Hoarding cleanups are sorted as we go, not shoveled into a truck. Anything on this list is pulled out and handed to you or the family.
Always set aside
- Paperwork: deeds, titles, wills, bank and tax records, IDs
- Photographs, letters and keepsakes
- Jewelry, watches, coins and cash
- Keys, phones, laptops and hard drives
- Medication, kept separate and handed over
- Anything on the family's keep list
A staged plan when you need one
- Safety and access first. Exits, hallways, kitchen and bathroom cleared so the home is usable.
- Room by room. The rest is cleared at a pace the family agrees on.
- Broom sweep. Floors cleared and swept, ready for inspection, cleaners or a move-in.
Why families and landlords call us

Same-day and next-day pickup

Two-hour arrival windows
Pick a window that suits you. We call 30 minutes before we arrive, so you aren't waiting all day.
We do all the lifting
Stairs, basements, backyards and tight hallways. Point at it and our crew carries it out and loads it.
Licensed and insured
Crews are licensed and insured on every job, and we can send a certificate of insurance to your building.
About 60% recycled or donated
Usable items go to local charities, recyclables to the right facilities, and only the rest to licensed disposal.
Frequently asked questions
How fast can you actually get here?
Same-day in most of NYC and North Jersey if you call before noon, and next-day almost everywhere else in our service area. Tell us your deadline when you call and we'll tell you straight whether we can beat it.
Do you work nights and weekends?
Yes. Weekend appointments are common for emergency jobs, and we take after-hours calls. If a lease turnover or inspection has you against the wall, don't wait until Monday to call.
Can you finish before my inspection date?
That's usually the entire reason people call. Give us the date and photos of the space. Most single units are done in one day; larger homes take two to three. We'll commit to a completion date before we start.
Will anyone know it's a hoarding cleanup?
Not from us. Unmarked trucks on request, plain-clothes crew, and we don't discuss the job with neighbors, supers or anyone else. Your business stays your business.
Do you help with eviction cleanouts?
Yes. We work with landlords and property managers across NYC and NJ on post-eviction and abandoned-unit cleanouts, including heavy hoarding situations. Ask about documentation photos for your files.
What affects the price of a hoarding cleanup?
Mostly volume: how many truckloads the job fills. Access matters too (walk-ups, elevator rules, long carries), along with how much sorting the family wants. You get one firm price from photos before we start.
Do you provide photos for landlords or the city?
Yes. We take before-and-after photos on request so you have proof of completion for HPD, an inspector, a court or your own records.
What if the person isn't ready to let everything go?
That happens more often than not, and it's fine. We can do a staged cleanout: safety and access first (exits, hallways, kitchen, bathroom), then the rest at a pace the family agrees on. The deadline gets met without steamrolling anyone.
Something has to happen fast?
Call the emergency line or send a few photos. You'll have a firm price within hours and a crew as soon as today.
